Hello everybody,
I’d like to hear your advice regarding the programming for multiple Pick & Place machines.
My company is a Contract manufacturer located in SF Bay area and has 4 SMT lines with 11 Pick & Place machines. The good thing is that all of them are from one supplier, JUKI. But there are different models, KE-3010 / 2080 / 2060 / 1070 / 750 and JX-100. I have programming experiences for Flying probe machine and AOI machine but have no experience of Pick & Place machines. In the company, only one person has been programming Pick & Place machines, and I know that he uses two dongle keys, one for new models and the other for old models.
Q1. Can you advise if the programmer must use Dongle key to program for those machines ? Or any other available options ? Q2. Now we are receiving too many new proto type jobs, so we need to use multiple programmers in parallel. But I heard that the Dongle key was for only one person and it was very expensive. what options are available to program multiple PCBAs in parallel ? Q3. What is the best way to find and hire a programmer who can program JUKI Pick & Place machines immediately ? Q4. If you have any written materials explaining the Programming method of JUKI machines for my better understanding, please send me the materials. I have little understanding about the programming of JUKI Pick & Place machines.
your advice will be appreciated very much.
John
