What do people recommend for PCBA Depanelers/routers. Need to have the following: Inline China support (Shanghai area), Chinese language capable, Grippers/vacuum nozzles to pick individual boards from panel to designated area.

No worries.

From memory you could get 2 types of head - 1 where you had grippers and the other where the head held the whole panel. We had interchangeable grippers. Also had some Cencorp 1000 & 1300BRs which were ok, but not sure on Global support network.

Thanks for the feedback. I hear Cencorp has no support in China or Chinese language compatibility on the machine. Otherwise I would look at them.

Does anybody know why PCB routers are so (relatively) expensive? I have got quotes on 5 or 6 different standalone routers with the cheapest being a little less than $70K and the most expensive being $110K. This is as much or more than we paid for a new pick-and-place machine!

Probably because boards get designed with a required route to be 5 mils from some copper.
