Which printer is more robust ? ESE-2000X, SJIT HP-680 or Yamaha YCP10 | 9 July, 2020

Hello everyone, I'm in a manufacturing environment with a middle mix of boards, and some mid volume. The cards are our design and the most diffucult pakage is TSSOP-14, QFP-128 and 0603. So, these days we decided to buy new printer? But, we have stacked within 3 alternatives. I'm wondering that which printer is more roubst?

Why those 3, are they used? (as I don't think a 680 is a current model)

From what has been said previously on here, ESE Sell a highly regarded printer that matches the big boys on features and crushes them on price. SJIT is a high end printer, I understand they are very popular with people who want large format printers in particular and the built in SPI is pretty good, they are also quite expensive. The Yamaha is an easier choice if you already have a Yamaha line if you want to look at Industry 4.0 and full line integration. Not personally come across anyone who could give me feedback on them....

Dear Spoilt, Thank you for explanation. We have worked on a new SMD Line. So, We have confused about printer. Last week, we deciced to buy Panasonic SPG2 Printer. It is more expensive according other printer. But, it is not too much. We have good connection at electronic production industry, they said us it is one of the best printer and you can use it along 15 - 20 years. Last of all, what is your opinions on Panasonic SPG2? Thank you again.

Hi MCB,

YCP10 is a good printer, and inline with Yamaha SPI, P&P, AOI, & P-Tools is a great printer. If you don't have a Yamaha line I'd probably go DEK or Ekra, but does depend on local spares and service support.

Dear Robl, Thanks for comment. Panasonic have given to us very competative quoted for SPG-2 printer. Also in Turkey, the comments for Panasonic printer is very well and the technical servise is quite good. For that reason, we have decided to bu Panasonic Printer SPG-2. I hope, we will use it over years.
