Conductive Adhesive and UV cure adhesives dispensing | 21 February, 2003

Hi, I would like to know how Conductive adhesives and UV cure adhesives are dispensed. I know that nonconductive adhesives are dispensed through jetter, Auguer pump annd other contact type method. I am puzzled and curious to know whether there is any change in dispensing equipment that is used to dispense the Conductive and UV cure adhesives. Thanks mani

I don't know of anything special in the ways of dispensing since they don't normally care about the differences of UV or Conductive or pastiness.

The only difference is WHAT you are striving to do with the adhesive and how the adhesive moves as a semi-fluid. Some move fast some move slow which for some is called viscosity.

You might be running into a manufacturer or supplier that has a method they like and have found successful and then are making an association.
