Hi guys,

I need to purchase x-ray system & rework station & Solder Paste Inspection and Data Analyser for BGA,CSP,QFP, etc. in other word, multifunction for future requirement. But I have no ideal about how to choice a product. Maybe somebody is willing to share his experience/criteria to help me. And welcome somebody recommend good product to me. Any help will be highly appreciated!

LH: You seems to have a large project and require a starting point. You need to do some work first. Responding to you questions:

1 X-ray system for BGA, CSP, QFP recommendations => There is a wide range of price points and configurations for such equipment. RFA (Read the Fine Archives) and contact the suppliers (supplier lists are in SMTnet and "SMT" & "Circuits Assembly" etc magazines) and get back to us with specific questions. 2 Rework station BGA, CSP, QFP recommendations => See 1 above. Also, each year "Circuits Assembly" magazine publishes a comparison of suppliers. A version of it is on-line at their site. 3 Solder Paste Inspection for BGA, CSP, QFP recommendations => See 1 above. 4 Data Analyser for BGA, CSP, QFP recommendations => I never heard of this equipment. Do you mean a thermal profiler? If so, ee 1 above.
