Hi all, Anyone familiar with BTU oven VIP-70. The control screen indicates that it is in IDLE mode. The recipe is running, but no heat is applied. The contactor for the heat is ON. All the electrical looks ok. I can't seem to be able to contact BTU, their website is down. Baffled

Not familiar with your problem but have you called Tech Support (800) 998-0666.

no help from BTU, didn't buy from them so no support. I found the cause of the problem. The input of the controler relating to the conveyor alarm must have been stuck. By toggling the trigger value from Lo to High in the setup screen, I caused an alarm. I then toggled it back to Lo, cleared the alarm and the problem was gone! Of course, you need to have one of those oven to understand what I'm saying.
