Hello all,

I am using a led base past on a very thick board. Profiles are 260c in final zone. Currently I am using Biral "NoMelt" grease. This is not good enough for my process. After 1-2 shifts all of the grease is gone. What are you all using?

I should read this closer before I post it. It should read "Lead" paste not "Led" paste.

This is grease for the screw shaft that brings the rails in/out on the reflow oven.

Most ovens I know use oil to lubricate conveyor chain, not grease. Anyway, is this what you're using:

NMG No Melt Grease NLGI 2 (operates from -20�C to +270�C) NMG is a long-fibred highly adhesive grease which does not melt or drip at high temperatures, even if ignited. Designed to withstand extremely heavy loadings at high temperatures. NMG also protects against corrosion, even salt water and aggressive chemical attack. Can be used at up to 300�C for short periods with frequent lubricating intervals.

Here's the oil:

BIO 30 - Biral Industrial oil (operates to +300�C ) BIO 30 is an extremely high quality synthetic industrial oil for a wide number of applications. I agree with Pete, I prefer to use High Temp Lubricant. Because it more clean compare to High Temp Grease. Usually i only do a few drip for 3-5 days, because purpose of lubricant is to make chain & shaft smooth.Since Biral is expensive lubricant i use Idemitsu High Temp oil to replace it.

The NMG No Melt is what I currently use. I hadn't thought of replacing it with an oil.
