Under the broad banner term "Industrial vision", Viscom in involved in an extremely wide range of applications and markets, from customized systems, PCBA Inspection Systems to X-ray, and combined Inspection systems. The latest unit is the Microsystem Inspection system. This new business unit focuses on inspection technologies for semiconductor and ceramics production with its micro- and nanostructures.
Viscom's majority of business ( fully 75% of it ) is in the field of quality control, in the inspection of printed circuit assemblies in electronics manufacturing. The system quickly and reliably detects typical defects such as cracks, coating voids, smearing and splashing. Layer thickness and wet coating can also be analyzed.
