Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI)
Established in 1976, ETRI is a non-profit government-funded research institute that has been at the forefront of technological excellence for more than 25 years.
ETRI consists now of 4 research laboratories, 2 research divisions, 2 centres, and 1 affiliated research institute with employment of approximately 2,000 researchers, more than 97% of whom hold master’s or PhD degrees. It is the largest national research institute for information and communications in Korea.
