Our tape cutting tools can be used with either paper or plastic tape, punched or formed pockets, any cover tape, and cut all tape widths. The 8mm models have an alignment block with 2 sets of sprocket hole locating pins (for 1 and 2mm pitch) that allow for the most accurate cutting and splicing of taped components. The zig zag cut model ensures not just accurate cutting, but helps the cut tape interlock for speed of splicing on the assembly line. The cutting tool for 12-32mm tapes also includes locating pins (4mm pitch) for accurate cutting of larger tape widths. The newest cutting tools come in 2 models each with 2 sets of sprocket hole locating pins (for 2 and 4mm pitch), to cut tapes from 8-32mm and 8-56mm in width.
