Smart Tweezers ST-5S are the newest model in the Smart Tweezers line of handheld LCR-meters. This model will be replacing the previous ST-5 model.

Smart Tweezers are a fully automatic, handheld, digital LCR-meter designed specifically for evaluating Surface Mount Technology. The unique combination of a set of precision gold-plated tweezers as probes and a small yet powerful LCR-meter in a compact, lightweight device is the perfect solution for component identification and debugging complex circuits without needing to remove the components from a PCB. When in contact with a component, Smart Tweezers automatically identifies the component and selects the proper test range and signal frequency for the highest accuracy results while testing for Inductance, Capacitance, Resistance as well as secondary values such as the ESR or Z. The device requires no set-up between evaluations, meaning that the user can be more focused on the task at hand and save time.

The ST-5S model offers users the same features and functionality as the previous ST-5 model. Including features such as:

The ST-5S main difference is the new updated look; a smaller sized body and lighter weight at only 1 oz, and a bright OLED screen.
