Circuit Technology specializes in equipment for the assembly, repair and cleaning of printed circuit boards. CTI was founded in 1994 by Bob Doetzer after working in electronics manufacturing, sales, and distribution. CTI has evolved over the years by constantly evaluating the vast array of PCB assembly equipment for the best value and benefit to our customers.


In 2001 we expanded into IPC training and today we have 6 state of the art Authorized IPC Standards Certification centersr in Maryland, Virginia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Costa Rica. Team

Our team includes four Master IPC Trainers, with an average of 25 years of training and electronic assembly experience. Our trainers have extensive industry experience which enables them to relate the training material to real-world circumstances. Our customers can also leverage this experience to help solve their specific electronic assembly-related challenges. They can also provide advanced equipment training in all aspects of production to include soldering techniques, specialized rework techniques for Surface Mount Array packages, and unique package styles. In addition to our trainers, we have four dedicated training service support staff to help make your experience quick, easy, and productive.

Training and Classes

CTTI offers training in all IPC assembly specifications as well as CTI, Weller, ESD, lean six sigma, SMT Boot Camp, and custom courses tailored to our customers’ exact requirements. In addition to ongoing process and IPC support after training, we offer PCB assembly and process engineering support for Air Vac, Juki, Weller, YesTech, and Heller, among others.

Customizable Solder Process Training Classes

Feb 06, 2009 | Circuit Technology has just released a new series of customizable Solder Process training classes to add to its array of IPC Certified training classes. This new series of classes focuses on the automated circuit board assembly process. The series consist of Wave Solder Process, Reflow Solder Process, SMT printing process and SMT Boot Camp. Each class includes a site audit of your current processes followed by two days of training based on your desired process goals.
