MatriX Technologies GmbH, founded in 2004 is a market leading provider of Automated X-ray In-line Inspection systems (AXI for Electronics) that are used to control the manufacturing process and to ensure the quality of critical electronic devices, electronic printed circuit boards or fully assembled devices manufactured by its customers using surface mount technology (SMT). In addition, MatriX supplies automated and manual inspection solutions for Non-Destructive Testing (AXI for NDT) of other non-electronic materials such as casting or medical parts by using X-ray or Computed Tomography (“CT”) technology.
Recently, MatriX extended its AXI system offerings by Semi-automated and Manual X-ray Inspection systems (MXI for Electronics) being the only integrated supplier in the market which can offer its customers a complete X-ray system product range starting from entry-level MXI inspection solutions up to high-end automated in-line inspection equipment according to customer’s inspection goals, production layouts and budgets. Both, the AXI and MXI system range are based on our common, in-house developed and unique X-ray software platform (MIPS).
