Static Cop ECD-12 Description:

Static Cop has been developed as an aide in detecting and notifying users when an electrical charge of sufficient intensity is introduced into a monitored area.

Simple “plug and play” design eliminates the potential for the introduction of operator error in setup or use of the device. A green LED indicates the unit is active. Audible and visual alarms are activated when an electrical charge that exceeds the device threshold becomes present within the range of the detector.

Useful in assuring compliance to guidelines established by ESD Association (Electrostatic Discharge Association) Standard, S 20.20—Protection of Electrical and Electronic Parts, Assemblies and Equipment”.

Applications include: assembly, rework, process equipment, taping operations, packaging, inspection, ESD compliance, among many.
