A280 with TCA head Description:

For highly viscous, abrasive, and filled materials in straight walled 5 gallon buckets or 20l pails.  Coupled with our special TCA metering head is designed for thixotropic Thermally Conductive Materials with higher viscosities.  Low system and operating pressures improves operational safety.

The follower plate is made of tough polyethylene (PE) to guarantee sliding behavior and for sure vacuum docking against the media surface.  Follower plates ensure fast changeovers and almost all material is used instead of wasted or become hazardous disposal.  No manual venting or purging necessary.

The A280 follower plate pump features a reliable Scheugenpflug dual-piston pump. This pump comes in contact with the material on only one side, while a barrier fluid on the reverse side prevents abrasive fillers from adhering to the seals. This gives the material preparation system an unsurpassed service life when feeding highly abrasive, paste-like media.

The double piston pump integrated in this system provides for a long workpiece pot life and low maintenance costs, since a rinsing liquid prevents abrasive fillers from sticking to the seals.
