ition - scheduled to take place 10th – 13th November 2009 at the New Munich Trade Fair Center in Munich, Germany.
The SP210avi Printer has still the smallest footprint in the market with the highest level of capability and quality. Additionally, it also includes internal storage for squeegees and consumables. Designed for medium and high throughput, high-mix applications, the SP210avi delivers outstanding performance and value.
Also on show will be the SP700avi Printer for standard 737mm (29”) stencil frame. The SP700avi is available with a wide range of options, including 2D paste inspection, SPC data collection and 3 tooling options, including Speedprints unique laser tooling system and the new Vacunest tooling package.
Both systems use Speedprint’s unique, patent protected “look down, look down” approach to vision alignment. Twin roving cameras mounted on independent X,Y, gantries ensure accurate and repeatable precision alignment, using fiducial marks or PCB/stencil features. This innovative vision system, developed by Speedprint, facilitates a unique “paste on stencil” inspection feature that enables the user to determine that there is adequate paste on the stencil before running the print cycle.
Speedprint’s patent protected “Selective Auto-Paste Dispense” technology is fully programmable. The advanced intelligence of the twin camera vision system analyzes the stencil to see where paste is required and the dispenser deposits it accordingly. This unique option guarantees the integrity of consistent solder paste deposition onto PCBs. The user interface runs under a menu-driven, Windows XP™ application and is simple to operate. The software incorporates comprehensive self-diagnostic capabilities, including production logging and automatic fault report generation.
The SP210 series incorporates 3Di, an advanced user interface running on WINDOWS XP PRO or Vista TM.
In addition to the simple and intuitive nature of the interface, allowing simple programming and management of the Print process, it also provides comprehensive self diagnostic capabilities, such as production logging and automatic fault report generation which enables ‘on the fly' troubleshooting.
Offline Management station not only provides the capability to monitor individual machines or complete lines, but also to share and manage Product programs remotely.
Data stored on the machine may be accessed remotely via a PC modem connection, allowing for “on the fly” troubleshooting. Also, automatic rail width adjust is standard to aid quick changeovers in a high-mix manufacturing environment. Stencil loading is automatic and the system does not require adaptors for varying sizes of stencil frames.
Ease of maintenance and low cost of ownership are key characteristics of these printer solutions. Innovative design parameters have been used in conjunction with the most advanced drive control technology on the market. This has resulted in a platform that operates accurately and efficiently, and is economic and practical to maintain.
About Speedprint Technology Ltd.
Speedprint Technology became a division of the Blakell Europlacer Group of companies in September 1998. Following the acquisition and re-establishment of Speedprint, the group formed a new engineering team, many of which had years of experience with locally based printer manufacturers including DEK and SMTech, to develop and enhance the company’s portfolio of products. In keeping with the ethos of the Blakell Group’s desire to offer flexible and innovative solutions to the market, Speedprint is committed to delivering affordable leading edge stencil printing technology. The realization of this ambition is clearly illustrated by the company’s flagship avi range of fully automatic inline printers. Today, Speedprint operates from a hi-tech 18,000 sq. ft. facility based in Poole, in southern United Kingdom.
