Industry analyst and Circuits Assembly columnist E. Jan Vardaman will discuss optoelectronics manufacturing developments in the Pacific Rim in a keynote an upcoming conference on the next-generation technology.
A prolific author and speaker, Vardaman is president and founder of TechSearch International Inc., and editor of "Surface Mount Technology: Recent Japanese Developments." Vardaman is well-suited for her address, "Optoelectronics Manufacturing Activities in the Far East": She served on the NSF-sponsored World Technology Evaluation Center study team investigating electronics manufacturing in Asia, and on the U.S. mission to study manufacturing in China. The conference, the IPC International Conference on Optoelectronics, takes place June 12-13, in San Francisco.
