KVM4S/EUROPE-SMT, a leading global supplier of SMT production solutions, announces that it has sold the first EVS Solder Recovery System in Benelux, and that it plans to expand sales to the German market.
One month after introducing the EVS Solder Recovery System in Benelux, the first customer trials have been successful. ROI on these systems is proven to be less than two years, making it an attractive purchase. Use of the EVS system significantly improves the ISO 14001 Reuse/Reduce/Recycle commitment. Now, KVM4S/EUROPE-SMT has decided to invest in a test and evaluation system on the road in Benelux almost every week.
“The only way to see what the EVS system can do for you, the environment and the bottom line is to actually have it on you production floor,” comments Jamila Khabou, EVS product manager at KVM4S/EUROPE-SMT. “We then operate it as it would be in production, and tests show that a minimum of 50 percent of solder is immediately reclaimed and can be reused for free.”
EVS is a highly successful company and, with more than 1000 units sold, KVM4S/EUROPE-SMT makes the company’s technologies available for the Benelux market and now for selected customers in Germany. Ms. Khabou continues, “The first customer visits in Germany have been scheduled, in cooperation with our partner Dirk Rudell from Thixar Germany. Dirk has a long history in the industry working as a sales manager at STANNOL. We are confident that customers will want to work with Dirk to improve their bottom line.”
