WHY This course is needed by engineers and technicians who conduct developmental and production vibration and shock tests. Also by designers of products that must survive tests AND rigorous service conditions. Also by metrologists who measure vibration and shock on automobiles, aircraft, etc. Also by electronics production and quality control personnel who conduct highly accelerated life tests (HALT), environmental stress screening (ESS) and highly accelerated stress screening (HASS). Also excellent for sales/applications engineers involved in the sales of equipment used in the world of test of measurement (transducers, data acquisition etc.). This course material is too practical for university engineering departments.
