ZESTRON, the globally leading provider of high precision cleaning products, services and training solutions, is pleased to announce that Naveen Ravindran, M.S.Chem.Eng., will present “Why Clean PCBs” at the Cleaning, Testing, and Reliability Workshop in Houston, TX, on Tuesday, September 10th, and on Thursday, September 12th, in Austin, TX.
Trends within the electronics industry, including miniaturized components, increased board density and reduced standoff heights, are driving the need for precision cleaning. Naveen Ravindran, Application Engineer, ZESTRON America, will discuss how failure to properly clean PCBs can lead to failure mechanisms, including dendritic growth, electrochemical migration, and electrical leakage currents. Mr. Ravindran will also discuss reliability issues, solutions and best practices. Test results of DI-water vs. chemistry will be examined and surface analytical methods will be reviewed.
The Cleaning, Testing, and Reliability Workshop will be hosted by ZESTRON, FHP Reps, Shenmao, Technical Devices, and SPEA. This event is held from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with participants having the option to attend this free-of-charge workshop on Tuesday, September 10, at the Hilton Garden Inn – Houston in Houston TX, or on Thursday, September 12, at the Norris Conference Center in Austin, TX.
