Henkel Adhesive Technologies today announced that Steven Abramovich has been named Head of Sales, Americas for its electronics business. Previously Vice President of Channel Management for the company, Abramovich lends 30 years of results-driven sales and marketing experience to his new role.
“I am honored to lead Henkel’s talented group of sales professionals,” says Abramovich, who thrives on developing strategic sales organizations and structures to achieve business growth. “Electronics manufacturers appreciate Henkel’s knowledgeable and adaptive sales team; we look forward to further enabling our customers’ success by providing unique technology expertise that leverages our extensive portfolio of advanced materials.”
Prior to joining Henkel, Abramovich held numerous sales and marketing positions at some of the electronics industry’s top players, including an 18-year tenure at Tyco Electronics where he was instrumental in delivering significant revenue growth and implementing sales force modifications that enabled successful outcomes for ambitious targets. Following Tyco, Abramovich took on an executive sales and marketing role at thermal materials leader, The Bergquist Company, which was acquired by Henkel in late 2014.
As Head of Sales, Americas for Henkel, Abramovich will prioritize alignment of the sales structure with the company’s business objectives. Initiatives include expansion of the inside sales team, holistic integration of all sales and business development programs, market expansion and cultivation of new customers, and more successful leverage of the company’s forward-looking market intelligence.
Commenting on this appointment, Henkel Corporate Senior Vice President and Global Head of the Electronics Business, Benoit Pouliquen, says: “Steven’s impressive track record speaks for itself. I have had the pleasure of experiencing his dynamic approach to sales leadership and am confident he will create an environment that fosters achievement, creativity and positive results.”
Abramovich will oversee Henkel’s internal and direct external sales organization in North, Central and South America. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from State University of New York Albany and will be based in Boston, Massachusetts.
