Reed Exhibitions, the organizers of the NEPCON shows, will launch NEPCON across China in 2010. The events will feature exhibitions, a road show, conferences, seminars and numerous other activities. Keeping pace with the industry’s development, NEPCON will expand into areas in middle and western China. It also will hold NEPCON West China in Chengdu in June. NEPCON West China is already highly rated among numerous exhibitors from other NEPCON events. The show also enjoys the support of the Chengdu municipal government, as well as from manufacturers and local industry associations working together to develop the local electronics manufacturing industry in western and central China.
Following the South China, North China and central China NEPCON events, Reed Exhibitions will work with key local electronics industry associations and organizations to host various activities in central China, a region that includes Hubei, Hunan and the Bohai Sea region, as well as in Beijing, Tianjin and Northeast China. Through this strategy, the organizers hope to improve NEPCON and maintain it as the premier business platform to maximize networking opportunity with its finger on the pulse of the domestic market.
NEPCON China 2010 will combine a wide range of local and international resources to deliver an exceptional exhibition. The show will cover approximately 30,000 sq m and more than 500 exhibitors are expected on-site. High profile names like Assembleon, Agilent Technologies, Siemens, Sony, Hitachi, Samsung, Panasonic, Fuji, Saki, Henkel, Yamaha, Juki, DEK and Speedline are annual exhibitors at NEPCON. The 2010 show also has attracted new participants like Dong You Da, Lu Bang Chemical, KED Optical Electric, Sunsport and Wisdom Electronics.
As show organizers, Reed Exhibitions have explored new industries and regions, so the number of visitors for NEPCON China 2010 is expected to increase. The quality of visitors is also projected to be significantly higher this year. Visitors will focus on consumer electronics, automotive electronics, medical electronics, LED, household appliances and industrial control equipment. India, Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries are among the target international visitors for the show. Pre-registration for NEPCON China 2010 is open. Visitors can preregister via http://www.nepconchina.com.
In addition to the regular exhibition, the event will introduce an LED segment. As the global LED industry has witnessed rapid growth over recent years, so the Chinese LED industry has entered a new development stage. In light of this, China Solid State Lighting Alliance (CSA) and Reed Exhibitions will co-produce the 4th China International New Lighting Source & New Energy Lighting Exhibition and Forum (Green Lighting China 2010) for the first time. Key figures from Reed Exhibitions and the CSA, including Ruan Jun, Deputy General Secretary of the CSA; Josephine Lee, Vice President of Reed Exhibitions East China, and Tang Guoqing, Senior Deputy Director and Legal Representative of the Shanghai Optic-Electronic Industry Association, gave speeches at a joint press conference held in January 2010. “To capitalize on the opportunities coming the way of the novel light and energy sources lighting industry, we need an authoritative channel within the industry. One specialized enough to promote in-depth interaction and communication about innovative technologies amongst potential customers, partners and government officials,” said Ms. Lee.
Green Lighting China 2010 will cover the entire industry chain in the lighting industry and show the newest and most innovative manufacturing technologies and products, including new lighting sources, new sources of display products, lighting materials and components and new energy lighting systems.
In addition to booths on the site, the e-NEPCON website provides great opportunities to further develop relationships between exhibitors and visitors. Since its launch in 2008, e-NEPCON has attracted more than 20,000 users. E-NEPCON will continue to combine closely with NEPCON across China in 2010.
“NEPCON is symbolic of the way the domestic electronics manufacturing industry has rallied,” said Ms. Lee. “NEPCON China 2010 has won the respect and secured the participation of many electronics enterprises and related industry professionals, both internationally and domestically. After implementing a fresh strategy, we are confident that we can promote even better, more complete cooperation and communication in the industry and help the electronics manufacturing community rebuild its confidence to seize on the available opportunities to grow. ”
