Etek Europe Ltd., a leading supplier of products and services to the European electronics industry, hosted a Cleaning & Conformal Coating Technology Day on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at its new Technology Centre in Prestwick, Scotland.
More than 40 guests attended the event where cleaning experts from Aqueous, Humiseal, SCS and Zestron delivered formal presentations on industry-leading cleaning and conformal coating technologies. Following the speakers’ presentations, guests were given the opportunity to test and evaluate Etek’s wide selection of the industry’s most advanced equipment from its Cleaning, Imaging, Fume Extraction and Manufacturing Divisions housed within the dedicated Demonstration Centre.
After lunch, Etek’s Managing Director Mike Nelson commenced a guided tour of Etek’s 12,000 sq. ft. Technology Centre. The Etek Technology Centre is the nerve center of Etek’s operations and allows Etek to perform and deliver at an exceptional level. The launch of the new Centre and Training Room reinforces Etek’s business philosophy of clear communication and complete customer support.
To conclude the day, an expert from the whisky industry provided a unique whisky tasting experience, bringing both guests and speakers together to taste and learn about a collection of rare Scottish whiskies.
Nelson added, “This is the first Etek Technology Day and we are delighted that so many of our customers old and new have travelled from all over the UK & Europe to attend our first event. Our Technology Days offer our customers a great opportunity to come to our Technology Centre and learn first-hand about leading technologies available on the market.”
