Ann Arbor Michigan March 25st 2016 - Saturn Electronics Corporation will be supporting the U of M Autonomy student project from the College Of Engineering, in the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International Roboboat Competition held on July 4 - 10, 2016. Virginia Beach, VA
Autonomy is an award winning, undergraduate team from the University of Michigan. Every year we build a fully autonomous robotic boat to participate in the AUVSI (Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International) Foundation Roboboat competition. The boat, which is completely designed and programmed by the students, must complete a wide range of challenges that are designed to expose students to the many difficulties of autonomous operation. This year our competition includes an obstacle course, autonomous docking, underwater acoustic beacons, and the launch and retrieval of an autonomous submarine.
