This license extends, for another two years, the company’s ability to manufacture and ship medical devices and components, specifically printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies for finished medical devices to the company’s wide variety of Medical and Laboratory Sciences customers. To achieve this license, Victron demonstrated compliance with the federal Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/Quality System Regulation (QSR).
Sudarshan Bahl, Victron’s Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, commented “For the past 27 years we have been dedicated to the continuous improvement of our quality management system and manufacturing infrastructure in order to better support our growing Medical and Laboratory Sciences customer base. Food and Drug Administration requirements are one of the most stringent and compliance with these requirements demonstrates Victron’s commitment to world-class manufacturing. Victron’s quality management system is also certified in international standards ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.”
