MatriX Technologies, a leading global supplier of advanced X-ray inspection systems for electronics assembly and industrial applications (AXI, MXI, CT and NDT) , will debut its latest innovation in semiautomated X-ray inspection — the XT-3 — in Hall A2, Booth 159 at the productronica International Trade Fair, scheduled to take place November 12-15, 2013 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre in Munich, Germany.
From FocalSpot to MatriX-FocalSpot we are pleased to announce, with parent company MatriX Technologies, the lasted evolution of Production x-ray systems: the XT-3. The XT-3 frame covers five configurations and supports a new trend in X-ray inspection called Automating Manual Inspection.
The XT-3 is a high-quality, high-resolution semiautomated X-ray inspection system designed to address fast and intuitive operation, low-volume production capacity, and advanced failure analysis for SMT production inspection and quality control protocols.
The small footprint allows passage through a standard door width. The XT-3 offers exceptional image quality, and together with the MatriX Image Processing Software (MIPs), provides industry-leading automation for testing and measuring to IPC specifcations, BGA, QFN, FET voiding as well as barrel fill on connectors.
Incorporating full traceability from barcode reading to reporting utilizing the production-proven MatriX Inspection and Process Software (MIPs); the latest design of the XT-2 and XT-3 will automatically measure, detect, archive images, and report head-in-pillow and barrel fill conditions supporting process monitoring, auditing, or 100% in process inspection with ease of use.
XT-3 is now available to ship; configuration pricing available upon request.
