CheckSum’s ILS test system was recently selected for a manufacturing project to produce essential medical equipment. The project is an undertaking by the prominent contract manufacturer, Safari Circuits, Inc. located in the Midwest, United States.
The IPC certified manufacturer has been servicing the medical industry along with automotive, military, and instrumentation with world-class electronics manufacturing for over 30 years. Safari Circuits reached out to CheckSum as one of their existing test providers to discuss the optimal system to meet their needs.
“We have been very happy with the performance of our CheckSum testers due to their speed of test, ease of use, and attractive pricing”, said Dave Briggs, Vice President of Engineering at Safari Circuits.
Having previously purchased (2) CheckSum In-Line, touchless test systems, Safari wanted the new system to be compatible to provide more flexibility in their test department. Safari also owns other test equipment, but has found CheckSum delivers improved performance at a better price point.
With thousands of test systems installed globally, CheckSum is relied on by major electronics manufactures to deliver value by reducing test times with parallel test systems that combine in-circuit test, in-system programming and functional test. www.checksum.com
