BTU International Inc., a leading supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment for the alternative energy and electronics manufacturing markets, today announced that it made a donation to support the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Billerica for the second consecutive year.

BTU is among the businesses in the community that have come together as founding members of the Boys and Girls Club Corporate Partners Program. The contribution at bronze level was made on behalf of both BTU’s employees and shareholders and has been designated to support the club’s educational programs, including the after school “Power Hour.” The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Billerica provides recreational, educational and social development programs at its main club house and in after-school sites at six Billerica elementary schools.

We are pleased to again extend our support to the Billerica Boys and Girls Club. Their educational ‘Power Hour’ is an excellent program that provides great benefit to the local youth,” said Paul van der Wansem, chairman and CEO of BTU International. “We value all that this community has to offer and proudly support the excellent work done by the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Billerica.”

We are happy to count BTU as one of our Corporate Partners. These Partners have demonstrated a commitment to ensuring that the club remains a strong and vibrant resource for our members,” said Roy Nagy, executive director of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Billerica.
