Acculogic’s Manufacturing Test Systems Division, a global leader in electronics test and production solutions, announces that it will participate in a test seminar provided by Averna, JTAG technologies and Northtouch Canada.
Averna, JTAG Technologies, Northtouch Canada, National Instruments, Teradyne and Acculogic will provide a full day of enlightening technical presentations, discussions and networking opportunities on October 27, 2011 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Select in Kanata, Ontario, Canada. The seminar is free to attendees and is designed to help them take PCB testing to higher levels.
The seminar will begin at 8 a.m. with an activity and presentation. Breakfast will follow and at 9 a.m. the conference will begin. Presentations include “DFT and Guidelines for Boundary Scan” by JTAG Technologies’ Rick Pierpont; “Introduction to NI TestStand: The Industry Standard Test Management Software” by Tejinder Gill, National Instruments; “The Evolution of ICT” by Alan Albee, Teradyne; “The Flying Probe Approach to Limited Access Testing and Basic DFT” by Acculogic’s Greg Leblonc; and “Functional Test Best Practices” by Averna’s Gabriel Maréchal. Additionally, lunch will be provided by JTAG and Averna.
Greg Leblonc, PE and member of IEEE, has been with Acculogic for more than 12 years and serves as Application and Flying Probe Product Manager. Greg was involved with Acculogic’s first flying probe system, the Sprint, and has been instrumental in it hardware and software improvements over the years. Greg also is in charge of engineering enhancements for the new Scorpion Flying Probe System. As Application Manager, Greg has many years of experience and has become an expert in providing test solutions for complex PCBs.
