Seica's participation in this exhibition will address all dimensions of board test, from prototype to mass production, to field repair, implemented on a variety of solutions, based on a common hardware and software core, but focused at your environment, performance, efficiency and cost requirements.
Seica's top of the line will be centered around the Pilot4D V8, the top/bottom eight heads Flying Probe that well carries in its name the symbol 4D (four dimensions). Fast to program and with flexible full access for prototypes, efficient in manufacturing with parallel test capability and on-line automation, unique in repair with a large set of smart test tools and Reverse Engineering, the Pilot4D V8 is the reference for Flying Probe test solutions. No matter how your board density and complexity increases, your packages size shrinks and your test access diminishes, the Pilot4D V8 is ready to take the challenge!
World Class Manufacturing (WCM) concepts are at the heart of the COMPACT line, with the Power-Multi version that will be presented at the exhibition. Modularity, best practice in fixture design, productivity via parallel test, on-board-programming, new tech testing (i.e. LED), but also ergonomy, safety, footprint reduction, fast maintenance and overall cost control are the characteristics of COMPACT line that will respond to your high volume test demand. And where cost and performance seem conflicting requirements like in automotive products, the COMPACT line is leading the path.
The hardest challenge? Bring down dimensions and cost of our test technology without compromise in performance. A set of instruments and a software environment ARE NOT a (cost-reduced) test system, but a test system CAN BE designed to become as flexible and cost effective as an instrument. The MINI Line here on show with the MINI-200 Model and the PTE-100 are the result of this effort. The MINI-200 includes all the hardware and software performance of the major systems; add a PC (via simple USB connection) add a fixture (bed-of-nails or edge connector), chose a software test manager (Seica VIVA or COTS like N.I. TestStand/LabView), place it on your environment (desk, automated line, burn-in chamber or dedicated STE) and you will have the solution you need. The PTE-100 carries the same concept but deploys it in the form of an Intelligent Break-Out-Box to be used on most severe conditions in the field and directly on the equipment to repair.
