Al Cabral Joins Finetech as Regional Sales Manager

Al has participated in advanced manufacturing, new product introduction, and process and product development within the electronics industry for more than 25 years. He has authored many technical papers and has presented at several industry symposiums. Al has collaborated with SMTA, IPC and iNEMI industry organizations. He holds a Bachelor‘s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University. His expertise includes Through-Hole, Surface Mount and Semiconductor Packaging with an emphasis on soldering and heat transfer.
Al has been a significant contributor to the development and optimization of reflow and rework processes and systems, particularly lead-free transitions and microelectronic applications. Having held key positions in engineering, applications, marketing and sales with Apollo Computer, SCI, Sanmina, BTU, Vitronics-Soltec and VJ Electronix, he has extensive hands-on experience while providing a unique OEM-EMS-Supplier combination perspective.
