Jul 17, 2013

IPC — Association Connecting Electronics Industries® announces its IPC Management Meetings, which provide a forum for company leaders to gain a high-level perspective on technology, market trends and management issues, will be held Tuesday, September 24, in Chicago. Open exclusively to senior executives in the electronics industry, the meetings are co-located with the IPC Technology Market Research Conference (TMRC), which will take place September 25–26.

Chief executive officers, company presidents and other top decision makers from EMS, PCB and PCB supplier companies are invited to the meeting, which will feature joint sessions of interest to all sectors of the industry followed by breakout sessions targeting the specific needs of EMS providers and PCB manufacturers and their supplier companies.
We’re at a pivotal time in our industry, when the choices company leaders make today can have a tremendous impact on whether the company remains competitive tomorrow,” says Sanjay Huprikar, IPC vice president. “The subject matter experts we’ve assembled for this event will provide important insights on the most critical issues decision makers are facing right now.”

Top on the agenda is delivering insights into the economy, supply chain issues, conflict minerals, military spending, ITAR and on-shoring — all to provide senior-level electronics executives with timely and privileged information to help them usher in the next generation of the electronics industry. Among the speakers for the one-day event are Shawn Harrison, senior research analyst, Longbow Research; Wilhelm Janisch, senior manager of environmental compliance and sustainability, Motorola Mobility; Ed Pound, chief operating officer, Factory Physics, Inc.; Don Hicks, president and chief executive officer, LLamasoft Corporation; and Michael Fink, vice president of operations, Lantronix. A networking reception and dinner will follow the meetings.

Registration for the IPC Management Meetings is available online at www.ipc.org/tmrc-mm-registration. Special registration rates are available for those who wish to also attend IPC’s Technology Market Research Conference. Information about both events is available at www.ipc.org/tmrc-mm or by contacting Susan Filz, IPC director of industry programs, at +1 847-597-2884.
