Dec 06, 2001 At its annual Securities Analysts meeting being held today in New York, Rockwell Automation (NYSE:ROK), a leading global provider of industrial automation power, control and information solutions, will review its outlook for the first quarter of fiscal 2002.
The company is anticipating a 3 percent sales decline from its fourth quarter of fiscal 2001. It expects first quarter 2002 earnings per share to be in the range of $0.14 to $0.16, which includes the effect of ceasing amortization of goodwill and certain other intangible assets as required by SFAS No. 142. Results for the balance of the fiscal year continue to be difficult to project given the uncertain economic environment.
